Why do I need a professional makeup artist?
When you decide to give yourself and your bridal party the gift of makeup, you are also giving yourself great photos for time to come. When the wedding is over, the greatest souvenir of the day will be your photography. There will be more pictures taken of you that day than any other day of your life. Photography is expensive and your photos will be that much better if you hire me. The average woman doesn’t know how to apply makeup for photography. Also, you have to consider, typically, a white gown an white veil and flash photography really remove a lot of color from your face. I know how photography affects a person’s natural appearance and I understand how to reclaim that. I also know how to add extra touches to make you look very special for one of the most important events in your life according to your personal tastes and comfort levels while also giving you professional advice.
Trials are comprehensive and time is taken in the consultation before any makeup is applied. I hope you will allow me to give you your best individual look for your important day!
As an experiment, some of my friends who didn’t know me when they got married decided to dress up in their dresses again so I could do their makeup. They regretted not having a pro on their day. These ladies are no stranger to makeup and know how to do it well. But we agreed that even in that case, my work just kicks it up a notch.
